2027 Dates and Information

Day Camp is designed especially for campers entering Kindergarten through 2nd grade.

This one-day experience runs from 10:00am–4:00pm and is packed with classic Bond Camp fun — just without the overnight stay. Campers will enjoy games, crafts, chapel, music, outdoor activities, and plenty of laughter, all in a safe and encouraging environment.

Day Camp is the perfect introduction to camp life for younger children who aren’t quite ready to stay overnight but are ready for a big day of adventure.

Meet the Deans of Day Camp

Stacey Smith - Dean

Stacey serves as Associate and Youth Minister at Belleville First Christian Church and has a lifelong love for Bond Camp. Having grown up attending Bond, he now brings decades of youth ministry experience — including serving at church camps in multiple states — to every week he leads.

Stacey combines creativity, experience, and strong organizational leadership to create a camp experience that is both fun and spiritually impactful. He and his wife, Anna, are raising three daughters and a son who also love camp, making Bond a special place for their entire family.

Dima Powell - Assistant Dean

Dima serves as a Student Ministry Assistant at Greenville First Christian Church and brings contagious energy and enthusiasm to everything he does. He is currently attending SIUE while actively investing in students and volunteering in children’s ministry.

Dima is known for his positive attitude, hands-on leadership style, and high energy. He also works as a shift manager at Capri Market in Greenville, balancing responsibility with ministry involvement. A former high school tennis and soccer player, Dima now coaches tennis at Greenville High School and enjoys running for fun. He loves Bond Camp and is passionate about encouraging students to grow in their faith.
